The independent film production company ARTILERIA, Ltd. was established in 2006 in Bratislava, Slovakia (between 2003 and 2006 the company operated under the civic association status).
Film Other worlds (dir. Marko Škop) won a Special Jury Mention at the 2006 Karlovy Vary International Film Festival and was the first ever documentary in the festival's history to win the Audience Award. The company´s second feature length documentary Blind loves (dir. Juraj Lehotský) had its world premiere in the frame of the Quinzaine des Realisateurs and won CICAE Art Cinema Award in Cannes 2008. Artileria's third feature length documentary film Osadné (dir. Marko Škop) was awarded the Best Documentary film at the Karlovy Vary International film festival 2009. Film Miracle (dir. Juraj Lehotský) won a Jury Mention at the 2013 Karlovy Vary IFF. Eva Nová (dir. Marko Škop) was awarded with the FIPRESCI Prize at the Toronto IFF 2015. Film Ice Mother (dir. Bohdan Sláma) won Best Screenplay Award at Tribeca FF 2017. Let There Be Light (dir. Marko Škop) received Best Actor Award for Milan Ondrík and Ecumenical Jury Special Mention at Karlovy Vary IFF 2019.
